If a County tree fell and damaged private property such as a fence, car or house, the individual should call their home insurance provider and 911 outside of business hours. In addition, the Tree Maintenance Section will be notified for tree removal. The homeowner must sign a waiver permitting DOT to enter private property and remove tree.
