Under the revisions to Montgomery County Code Chapter 30C - Motor Vehicle Towing & Immobilization on Private Property effective November 30, 2015, a property owner wishing to engage in the non-consensual towing of vehicles from their commercial property must first register each commercial parking lot (excluding garages) with the Office of Consumer Protection using an electronic registration program.
