The TESS Community Action Center is a walk-in DHHS office, providing information, referrals to Montgomery County residents. Bilingual staff (English, Spanish and Amharic), also assist with completing applications for public and private community programs, and resources, including housing, food, childcare, emergency services, clothing, medical care, holiday giving and more. Pro Bono Program (Bar Foundation of Montgomery County) offers free legal services for civil cases on the first and third Wednesday evening each month (registration 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM). VITA free tax services offered mid-January through mid-April on Tuesdays from 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Appointment is required.
