Building owners must have all Covered buildings verified the first year of official benchmarking and every 3 years thereafter. Verification should be completed by a Recognized Data Verifier as identified by DEP. Recognized Data Verifiers should use EPA's Data Verification Checklist as a guide for completing verification (omit the water and indoor air quality sections).
