The Taxicab Regulation Office building at 260 E. Jefferson Street, Rockville, MD 20850 Office is open Monday - Friday from 8 AM until 4:30 PM for application submittal or to pick up an ID. The fee to renew a two year taxicab driver ID card is $100 and it requires a LiveScan fingerprint submission, three year CERTIFIED driving record, four passport size photos (one side view, three front view), physical exam, and the completed application, which may be obtained at the Taxi Regulation Office. The hours of operation are 8 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday. A valid driver's license is required to receive the LiveScan fingerprint application.
