Normally, two inspections are required for a Residential Permit, a Close-in and a Final inspection. If this is a Close-in inspection or Final inspection for a residential permit, the Building permit and the Mechanical must also be scheduled for the same date. Installers may call 311 or go to the DPS website and click Inspection Requests button to schedule or cancel a mechanical inspection. Generally, requests before 12:00 PM on any given day will result in an inspection on the next business day.
