Statute of Limitations on a Human Rights Complaint

A complaint can be filed with the Human Rights Commission up to one year after the most recent date of act of discrimination. For example, a discrimination claim resulting from actions taken on August 5, 2022 must be filed with the Office of Human Rights before August 5, 2023.
