Energy Conservation Devices Property Tax Credit Requirements

A property owner that installs an Energy Conservation Device in their principal residence may receive a Renewable Energy Property tax credit against the County property tax. The Energy Conservation Devices must meet safety and performance standards set by a nationally recognized testing laboratory for that kind of device and have been installed within 12 months of the property owner submitting an application. A completed "Property Tax Credit Renewable Energy" application plus the required documentation must be submitted to receive this credit.
