Free deck safety inspections are offered by the Department of Permitting Services as part of the annual Building Safety Month campaign. DPS offers free, residential deck maintenance safety inspections during the month of May in Montgomery County. To make an appointment, contact Montgomery County 311 or 240-777-0311 beginning on Friday, May 1st. The program is limited to the first 300 appointments and those who received deck maintenance inspections last year are not eligible.
