Effective January 1, 2025, Medicare has changed the rules for Telehealth. Medicare participants are advised to contact Medicare and check coverage prior to scheduling a televisit. The County's coverage is secondary insurance and UHC and CareFirst will pay 20% of any eligible Medicare claim incurred. If your telehealth visit is not covered by Medicare, Retirees will be responsible for paying 80% of any televisit claims incurred.
