The program will be preparing current year (2024) taxes from January 21, 2025, until April 15, 2025. VIRTUAL appointments will be prepared on Fridays; In-person appointments Monday through Thursday; and ITIN applications every Wednesday. To set up an appointment, call 240.777.1123. Please note, program staff will ask specific questions to make sure one is eligible for a virtual appointment and tell you what documents are needed and how to submit them to VITA. In-person appointments are held every Monday at the Casey Community Center in Gaithersburg from 2pm-8pm; Tuesday at the TESS Center in Silver Spring from 2pm-8pm and at our Rockville location from 11am to 6pm; Wednesday at our Rockville location from 12:00pm-8pm; and Thursday at WorkSource Montgomery in Wheaton from 11am-4pm and our Rockville location from 11am-5pm.
