The Department of Recreation senior centers, located throughout Montgomery County, have a variety of offerings. See the first link below. Some of the offerings include congregate meals through the senior lunch program; socialization; special activities, and more. The lunch program is for persons 60 or older and their spouses, of any age, and is operated throughout the County, at various locations. Meals are available for a voluntary donation. Home Delivered Meals (Meals on Wheels) is for residents who are homebound due to illness or disability. This program provides two hot and two cold meals per weekday and is usually delivered by volunteers. For information, determine which Meals on Wheels organization serves the residents address by visiting this site (see: Enter the residents address and hit return.
