The Council generally meets every Tuesday in full session and is in session throughout the year except for usual breaks for a week in February, a week during spring break, the month of August, and three weeks at the end of the year/beginning of the New Year. Council committees generally meet on Mondays and Thursdays. Public hearings are often scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon or evenings.
