Maryland Public Information Act (MPIA) requests for video footage on board a Ride On bus must be submitted in writing to: MCDOT-MPIA Requests, c/o Brady Goldsmith, 101 Monroe Street, 10th Floor, Rockville, MD 20850. DOT will arrange for the request to be reviewed by the County Attorney's Office. The MPIA request will be responded to within thirty (30) days (including possible denial as determined by the County Attorney). Depending on the model and age of the bus, Transit only keeps video footage for 7 - 30 days; hence the video footage may not be available (recorded over) if the request is submitted too late.
