The Housing Code Enforcement unit investigates complaints regarding the infestation of bedbugs, mice, rats or roaches in residential rental units. If it is a complaint re: rats on private non-rental property, please see topic: "RATS, MICE, RODENT COMPLAINTS". The property owner is responsible for extermination in multi-family rental units and the tenant is responsible in single family rental units.
