FrogWatch Montgomery County is a chapter in the nationwide FrogWatch USA program. It is a way for individuals and families to get involved and to learn more about amphibians and the wetlands they live in. Anyone interested can participate in a classroom training provided by DEP, usually in January. Field training is provided during the monitoring season and everyone is welcomed to participate. Monitoring season depends on weather, but typically runs from March through August. Information about training is provided on DEP's website.
