The County has set a goal that a minimum of 30 percent of Targeted Neighborhood properties will have some form of stormwater control project. After RainScapes are installed, the goal is to achieve a measurable reduction in stormwater runoff. It is hoped that RainScapes in these neighborhoods will result in better stormwater control at the subwatershed scale, resulting in clean, healthy local streams while adding value through better landscaping throughout the community.

For inquiries requiring the response of a DEP investigator, requestors will typically be contacted within 3 days although resolution of the issue may take longer depending on the circumstances of the case.
