Fire Drills are required in Montgomery County schools, group homes, daycare and healthcare facilities. Apartment buildings and other businesses may not be required to hold fire drills, but are highly encouraged to have an emergency action plan. The Fire Prevention and Compliance office does not need to be notified or be present when fire drills are being held.
