The Division of Traffic Engineering and Operations Transportation Management Center (TMC) monitors traffic signal timing and other issues on all state and County roads including electronic controls that provide notification within two seconds of a traffic light becoming inactive. The TMC is not responsible for traffic signal related concerns identified in surrounding municipalities, such as City of Gaithersburg, Rockville or Takoma Park. TMC will respond to the outage as soon as possible.
