The concrete used within the County is Maryland State Highway Administration Mix #3 and/or Mix #6, Air-Entrained Concrete. It is strong enough to hold 2,500 - 4,500 PSI. The mix is tested and approved for use by the Montgomery County Construction Section's Materials Unit Lab to ensure compliance.

Pedestrians should refrain from walking on freshly poured concrete for at least 24 hours.
