The Bus Transformation Project developed a regional Strategy and Action Plan that focuses on improving the customer experience, connecting the region through better bus service, and fostering collaboration across transit and roadway agencies. The project was designed to re-imagine the role of local buses and create a system that meets the demands of the public - a fast, frequent, reliable, affordable system that feels unified. Now the hard work begins for agencies and officials to commit to building a better bus system.
To help spread the message, videos were created that tells four stories of challenges that bus riders face every day and how implementing the Strategy will make buses work better for everyone. Participating transit agencies: Circulator, DASH, Metrobus, and Ride On.
