Department of Transportation, Division of Highway crews work continuously around the clock until over 5,200 lane miles of county maintained streets are passable. It typically takes about 16 hours following the end of a 3" snowfall to plow or treat streets, 24-36 hours for a 10" snowfall, 35-40 hours after a 15" snowfall and about 48-60 hours after a 24" snowfall
