Beginning November 15, 2023, an owner or tenant of a property that is used as a residence, business, or nonprofit organization located within an eligible priority area may apply for a rebate for installing a security camera on their property.

1. The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) will issue a Press Release when the program has been implemented.

2. Camera rebates will NOT be retroactive before the program is implemented.

3. Please be sure to check for your location's eligibility in the program to assure you are a candidate for rebate before procuring a camera and expecting a rebate. If eligible, you do need to have procured and installed the camera and provide proof of this to be approved.
