In celebration of Earth Day, Monday, April 22nd, Riders will enjoy free trips on all Ride On Buses including the Flex, Flash, and Ride On extRa. Regular fares are expected on Metrobus. The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration is encouraging people to ditch their cars on Monday, April 22, and enjoy a free ride across all transit services. Officials say by choosing transit, riders help decrease road congestion and vehicle emissions.
