Resale of a Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit (MPDU)

During an MPDU's control period, an owner who wants to sell their unit must do so through the MPDU program to another MPDU certificate holder. The first step is to request the current resale price of the MPDU. The MPDU staff may take up to 21 days to respond to a resale price request. Information on requesting the current resale value of an MPDU is available on the MPDU website, accessible by clicking on the link below. MPDUs with expired controls can be sold at market prices; the owner must pay a shared profit payment to the County
