Mosquito Spraying

The Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) may expand mosquito control services due to public health concerns over the potential for mosquito-borne diseases, including West Nile virus and Zika virus. In these instances, the MDA will utilize truck based spraying and announce that activity on their web page (Click on first link below) and on Twitter @MdAgMosquito. The product used in MDA's ground ULV spray program is a synthetic permethrin-based product. Please click on the second link below for further information about the products used by the MDA for mosquito control.
