A permit is required to close a street for a block party or other event on a County maintained road. The first step in this process is for the resident to fill out and submit a permit application form. The form can be found and downloaded from the website referenced below. The completed form must be submitted 1 week prior to the event to Dept. of Transportation, Division of Traffic Engineering, 100 Edison Park Drive, 4th Floor, Gaithersburg, MD 20878, or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
