Applicants that have been offered employment in a merit position and have completed the appropriate medical protocol must attend an orientation. Orientation is held the first Monday of each pay-period (except if that day falls on a holiday, in which case it will be held on Tuesday). The Up-County Regional Services Center (12900 Middlebrook Rd. Germantown) hosts orientation sessions. Orientation begins promptly at 8:45 AM and normally ends at 5:00 PM. If applicant has other questions, they should contact the Specialist that handled their recruitment.
The purpose of orientation is to provide an overview of key County policies/procedures, pay and compensation as well to obtain required paperwork for employment.
If inclement weather is of concern, employees should contact the inclement weather line at 240-777-5043.
