Eviction or Foreclosure Assistance - Rockville

Housing Stabilization, Emergency Services offers emergency financial assistance and/or shelter for eligible families or adults who are homeless, facing eviction, foreclosure, and/or utility disconnection. Assistance may be in the form of rental deposits, past due rent, past due utilities, moving or storage and emergency shelter placement (shelter may be provided as it's available). An application must be completed and an interview conducted. Customers are seen on a first come, first served basis and must go into one of the Emergency Services offices, based on zip code. One must have an eviction notice or foreclosure notice (or letter of intent) in hand. If Emergency Services has assisted a customer within the last year, the customer should proceed with an office visit to discuss the current circumstances. HOC tenants facing eviction need to apply for help with HOC. HOC customers who are living in Rockville can go to either HOC Office: HOC Gaithersburg Customer Service Center: 101 Lake forest Boulevard, 2nd Floor, 20877, 240.627.9792. HOC Silver Spring: 8241 Georgia Avenue, 3rd Floor, Silver Spring, MD 20910, call 240.627.9793. Call either office for an appointment; office hours for both locations are from 8 AM - 5 PM. .
