The Improved Pregnancy Outcomes Program identifies health care issues related to poor pregnancy outcomes, such as stillbirth or the or death of an infant. The program offers resource materials promoting public awareness about healthful lifestyles for all women of childbearing age, such as the benefits of good nutrition, the need for regular medical care and early access to prenatal care. Bereavement (grief counseling) resource listings are available upon request.
