Absentee Ballot for General Election After Vote Via Absentee Ballot During Past Primary and/or General Elections

Maryland does not have a permanent absentee list. Therefore, Absentee Ballots are not necessarily sent. If a voter wishes to vote by absentee ballot for the upcoming elections, an application for an Absentee Ballot must be made each election cycle. A voter will receive an Absentee Ballot for the General Election, only if it was indicated on the original Absentee Ballot Application by checking both the Primary and General Election options.
