Women's Cancer Control Program
The Women's Cancer Control Program provides free mammograms, clinical breast exams, and pelvic exam/pap tests to low income uninsured women 40 to 64 years old who are Montgomery County residents. The program is for low income families who are uninsured. To apply, an application is needed along with proof of residence in Montgomery County for at least six months, and income documentation. The application review and approval process takes two weeks. To apply, send a service request to the office. Include information in the required fields along with a brief description of request.
If an application has already been completed, a letter will be mailed regarding approval for the program. A list of participating radiology providers (for the mammogram) and physicians list will also be included with the letter. If further follow up is needed, a nurse case manager will call and explain the results, and provide any instructions and assistance.
