Maryland State law is now requiring all school students entering 7th grade to submit proof of one TDAP (Tetnus-diptheria-acellular pertussis) vaccination and one Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccination. MCPS is applying for an extension which will give students another 45 days to before they wll not be allowed to attend school. Parents should check with their child's health care provider to see if immunizations were administered, and if so, obtain a copy of the record.
