Filing an Appeal File with the Merit System Protection Board

Appeals may be filed online at the Board's website using the Appeal Form. Appeals may also be filed in person at the Board's office at 100 Maryland Ave., Rm 113, Rockville, 20850, between 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday or mailed to the office. Appeal filings that can fit into a mail slot may also be dropped off at the Board's offices after hours. When the Board office is closed filings will be deemed to have been filed as of the Board's next business day. If the Board's office is closed, an appeal may also be delivered to the Office of Legislative Services, Council Office Building (COB) 5th Floor.
