Process to Become an Approved Student Service Learning (SSL) Organization

The Volunteer Center manages the database of organizations and volunteer opportunities that are pre-approved for Student Service Learning (SSL) by Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS). Organizations have to register with the Volunteer Center, attend an orientation, keep their information on the website current and respond to emails that ask for updates. Find information about registering and see upcoming orientation dates on the website under "Register your nonprofit."

To sign up for one of the upcoming orientations, or for additional questions, Online users may submit a request by clicking on the Create Service Request button below. Please complete all of the fields in the Contact Information section and provide a brief description of the request in the Brief Description field, along with the name of the organization.
