Report Unplowed or Missed StreetFind more information from the following link(s):
When snow begins to accumulate, the Department of Transportation, Division of Highway Services, will first treat all main County roads and emergency routes with salting and plowing, as necessary. Once the snow stops, and primary and secondary roads are clear, crews begin plowing neighborhood streets. Progress in neighborhood plowing operations can be tracked on the County's "Storm Operations Map" found on the County website. Requests for missed streets and/or residential street plowing cannot be taken until the street(s) are shown on the map as "completed". Once a street is published on the map as completed, residents may report a missed street(s) and/or request additional service through the County's Storm Operation Map portal.
The County is responsible for plowing County maintained roadways. If the unplowed street is maintained by the State (generally identified by Route numbers such as Rt. 355 or 270), please contact State of Maryland at 301.513.7300.
A representative will investigate and respond to service requests within one (1) business day.
