Employee - Questions Regarding Group Insurance While on Leave of Absence

Employee's on an approved paid leave of absence, coverage will continue on the same basis as before their leave commenced. If an employee is on an approved unpaid leave of absence that is covered under FMLA, USERRA or parental leave, they may continue to be covered under the same benefit elections in effect prior to the leave or may revoke their elections. While on leave, employees will be responsible for their share of the costs associated with their benefit elections; any amounts not paid will be recovered from future pay checks when they return to work.
