AccessMCG (iRecruitment) - County Employment Application Process

To apply for jobs with Montgomery County Government, an applicant must use the online application system. Applications must be completed online and submitted before 11:59 PM on the posted closing date.

Current Montgomery County Government employees must access iRecruitment via Employee Self Service using "AccessMCG - Single Sign-On" to apply for a new position.

Applicants that are not current County employees, must access iRecruitment via "AccessMCG Extranet" to apply for a current County position. First-time non County employee applicants must create a new account using the AccessMCG Extranet portal. The new account activation may take up to 15 minutes to complete.

Public access computers are available in the Office of Human Resources, Executive Office Building 7th Floor, 101 Monroe Street, Rockville, MD 20850 and at all County Libraries.

For assistance in completing a job application, applicants may come to the Office of Human Resources, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM to use the computers there. There will be someone there to answer any questions on the application process. Please bring a copy of the applicant's resume/cover letter/preferred criteria on a USB flash drive.
