COBRA Eligibility and Process

COBRA provides for the continuation of current health coverage for former County employees and their dependents. When COBRA is offered, a notice is automatically mailed to the employee's address on record. In the event of divorce, the member or ex-spouse must provide their new address to the Health Insurance Team. If no address is received, notice will be sent to member's address of record.
