Pre-Construction Meeting for Land Disturbance Requiring a Sediment Control Permit

The Department of Permitting Services requires a pre-construction meeting to be held with the Sediment Control Inspector prior to any land disturbance greater than 5000 square feet or 100 cubic yards of earth movement for which a Sediment Control Permit is required. The Sediment Control inspector for each project is noted on the Sediment Control Permit along with the inspector's direct phone number. Call the inspector directly to schedule a pre-construction meeting time.

The Sediment Control inspector's name and telephone numbers are listed on DPS website. From the DPS website under the "Inspections" heading, select "Sediment Control" then click on "Sediment Control Inspector Area Map".
