Managed Care Organization (MCO) and Medicaid

The Managed Care Organization (MCO) will attempt to contact customers to ensure that customers renew Medicaid. The MCO does not have the ability to know whether a renewal form has been sent or not. If a renewal form has not been received, a letter from the State of Maryland will be sent indicating such. At times the MCO is not in sync with what is happening at the local level. It's best to check with a caseworker regarding active benefits and the need for renewal.
