The County's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that all of Montgomery County Government's programs, services, buildings and other facilities are accessible to people with disabilities and compliant with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Compliance Officer is responsible for providing information, technical assistance and training on Title II issues to all County departments and for responding to any Title II related complaints and grievances from County residents. Title II covers State and local government programs and services. It does not cover employment (covered by Title I) or private or non profit (covered by Title III).
