Appeals to a Merit System Protection Board Notice of Action

An appeal or an intent to file an appeal must be filed in writing with the Merit System Protection Board (MSPB or Board) within 10 working days of receiving a notice of action. Appeals may be filed online at the Board's website using the Appeal Form located on the website. Appeals may also be filed in person at the Board's office at 100 Maryland Ave., Rm. 113, Rockville, MD 20850, or mailed to the office. Upon receiving an appeal request, the MSPB will advise the appellant of deadlines and the appeal process.
