Non-Receipt of Tax Bill
Tax bills are mailed in July,and it is up to the homeowner to notify the County if they do not receive one. If a resident has not received their tax bill, they can check the County website. Often, a taxpayer may have forgotten to notify the State Assessment office of a change of address and the tax bill was returned to the sender. Please note that failure to receive a tax bill does not relieve taxpayers of their obligation to pay the tax bill nor to pay with interest and penalty if late.

Taxpayers can see their Tax information on the County's web site. There is a $10.00 charge per tax account, per year for all duplicate tax bills and all requests must come in writing and have the check attached or the request will not be honored. Mail requests to the Montgomery County Division of Treasury, 255 Rockville Pike, Suite L-15, Rockville, MD 20850.
