Residential - Reconnection of Electrical Service by Power Company

A Montgomery County Licensed Electrician must obtain an online permit, using eServices, ePermits, for an Electrical Service to have power connected back to a Single Family Home, a 3 Story Townhouse, a Duplex or Mobile Home. Once the electrician has verified the service is ready to be reconnected they can schedule a 101 or a 102 inspection for Residential service online using eServices Data Search.

If a customer has lost power due to a Weather event, Fire event, or other accident causing the Residential building, (Single Family, 3 story Townhouse or Duplex), to lose power, have the customer contact the Residential Inspections Manager or the Residential Field Supervisors to have the inspection by DPS ASAP
