County Employee ID Cards

The Security Services Division is responsible for issuing County identification cards. ID cards will be issued by appointment only. Appointments are now booked online at the Appointment Site by clicking on the first link below and are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:15 PM at the Executive Office Building, 101 Monroe Street Rockville MD 20850 and 8:00 AM to 2:15 PM at the Public Safety Headquarters, 100 Edison Park Drive Gaithersburg MD 20878.

The employee should check with their County Supervisor or Manager to ensure that they have been provided instructions regarding what documentation is necessary to complete the appointment. All applicants are required to adhere to the Policies and Procedures necessary to obtain an ID card. If the employee does not have all of the required documentation, the appointment will be rescheduled.
