Item or Keys Dropped in Storm Drain
Department of Transportation, Division of Highway Services will respond and assist residents recover items from County maintained storm drains (including keys or cell phones, etc.) during normal operating hours. If an incident occurs after normal hours, a service request will be generated and forwarded to the respective depot. A representative will contact the resident the next business day.

The County maintains storm drains also in the muncipality of Chevy Chase Village, Town, Section 3 and North.

If the road is a numbered route such as Rte. 355, 117, please contact Maryland State Highway at 301-513-7300.

A representative will investigate and respond to service requests within one (1) business day.
