Emergency Assistance
Staff at Detrick Ave., East Deer Park, and the County Health and Human Services (HHS) Silver Spring office assist Housing Opportunities Commission (HOC) residents with emergency assistance such as eviction prevention and utility disconnect prevention. Please be advised that The Public Housing waiting list is currently closed but emergency assistance is available for current HOC residents requiring help. For further information, contact the Housing Opportunities Commission at: 240.773.9000.
