The Department of Transportation, Division of Highway Services clears over 5,100 lane miles of county maintained streets. The State of Maryland (301-513-7300) maintains routes (i.e., Rt. 355, 270, 28, etc.) and municipalities such as City of Rockville, City of Gaithersburg, etc. maintain city owned streets.
